District loses 38 employees to retirement

This year, the Newport-Mesa Unified School District lost 38 employees

to the lure of late mornings, golf, fishing and quality time with their

families and loved ones. Although the number may seem high, district

officials said the amount of retirees this year is lower than the norm.

The following are the men and women who retired after years of service

to Newport-Mesa’s children and families:
