Ron Davis’ article was right on. How dare those four-legged creatures
interfere with a two-legged creature’s right to enjoy the wildlife areas
[“Skunks on the Bolsa Chica mesa? Who’da thunk it,” June 29].
And what about those other four-legged creatures, like mountain lions
and coyotes, who don’t have the sense to stay out of the backyards of
neighbors who want to live in the foothills and mountains close to
nature.
Here’s an idea: Maybe I’ll write an etiquette book for those
uneducated four-legged creatures on how to co-habitate peacefully with
their neighbors.
Oh, silly me. They’re probably illiterate, or they would have read the
“Keep Out” signs.
