Orange Coast College’s community education office now offers monthly,
six-week computer courses that can be completed at home or in the office.
Online classes designed to improve computer skills and advance career
goals require Internet access, Windows 95 or 98, e-mail and either a
Netscape Navigator browser or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Computer courses offered include Windows File and Disk Management,
Beginning Keyboarding and workshops on Microsoft Word, Access and Excel
programs. Web page design courses are also available. Students can take
individual classes or complete a series of consecutive courses.
OCC’s distance learning program will also allow students to take classes
in other fields, including marketing, nursing, paralegal, writing and
Spanish.

education office. The office is located near the OCC library and is open
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays,
and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
Course registration fees range from $59 to $129. OCC is at 2701 Fairview
