The 17th Street Merchants and Community Assn. will hold a public meeting
at 7 p.m. May 31 to discuss the proposed expansion of East 17th Street in
Costa Mesa to a six-lane thoroughfare.
The group, made up of business owners and residents who want to have a
voice in the plans, is trying to raise awareness about the project before
the City Council votes on the plan in August or early autumn.
The meeting will be held at Kaiser Elementary School, 2130 Santa Ana
Ave., in Costa Mesa. For more information, call Douglas Bader at (949)
