Royals go on to topple Braves, 10-7
The Royals broke away from a 7-7 tie by scoring twice in the fifth
inning of play, then posted another run in the sixth inning, and went on
to stop the Braves, 19-7, in Fountain Valley Little League Minor B
Division action Friday at Mile Square Park.
Matteen Khalifan had a hit and RBI and Ray Strazzulla singled and scored
twice to lead the Royals.
Cheyne Taylor singled twice with an RBI, Alfred Holliman and James Dean
Hinson each had a hit and RBI, Chris Van Vuuren singled twice, and Taylor
Young had an RBI for the Braves.

Mets 16, Yankees 11
Jacob Gomez and AJ Cardenalli each had two RBI, Dillon Auxier singled
with two RBI, and Neil Mira and David Elliott each had a hit and RBI to
power the Mets.
Troy Bennion and Jake Jerulle each had an RBI and Jacob Bonham doubled,
to lead the Yankees.
Reds 12, Devil Rays 7 Vince Parker had a hit and two RBI, Austin Fellenz had a single and RBI,
and Alex Ackel singled twice for the Reds; Joshua Dang doubled with two
RBI, Robert Cano had a hit and two RBI, and Kevin Dion singled with an
RBI for the Devil Rays.
Angels 17, Dodgers 2
The Angels scored four runs in each of the first four innings in the
runaway victory.
Loren Robb hit two doubles and a single, Michael Trenfield singled three
times, Luis Pedroza tripled and singled, and Greg Souders doubled to
highlight the Angels’ offensive attack.
Brian Enoka, Garrett Olson, and Craig Sirois each singled for the
Dodgers.
