Cardinals rout Marlins, 10-1
Sam Olive smacked a two-run home run and also singled to highlight
a dominant offensive performance by the Cardinals Saturday, who went on
to post a 10-1 win over the Marlins in Seaview Little League Minor A
Division action.
The Cardinal offense also found Mike McDougal going 2 for 2 with a
double, and Nick Becker, Dylan McDiarmid, and Adam Cutts each getting a
pair of hits.
Tony Marion went 2 for 3 with a triple to lead the Marlins.

Mets 14, Indians 6
Chase Barnes went 3 for 3, Race Parmenter tripled and singled, and
Anthony Ellis and Tommy Higgins each doubled for the Mets; Sean King
smashed a three-run home run and also singled, and Justin Thompson went 2
for 3 for the Indians.
MINOR B DIVISION
Cubs 11, White Sox 1
Dave Folger and Ryan Little each went 2 for 2, Daniel Tierney hit a
two-RBI double and also pitched two scoreless/hitless innings, and Nick
Mazzone singled and collected the pitching win as the Cubs scored a Mercy
Rule victory; Peter Neugebauer, Tanner Class, and Richard Levinson all
singled for the White Sox.
Dodgers 14, Cardinals 1
In another Mercy Rule game, Johnny Olive batted 3 for 3, Trevor Carberry
and Shawn Stiffler each went 2 for 3, and John Christopoulos tripled for
the Dodgers.
Marlins 8, Diamondbacks 1
Barry Luke finished 3 for 3 and Jimmy Miller and Christian Slaton each
went 2 for 3 to lead the Marlins; the Diamondbacks received singles from
Trevor Springman and Casey Longshore.
