Dodgers skin Diamondbacks, 13-1

Six Dodgers had multiple hits Saturday to pave the way in a 13-1

victory over the Diamondbacks in Fountain Valley Little League Minor A

Division action at Mile Square Park.

John Spirk singled and tripled with an RBI, Joseph Green singled twice

with two RBI, Cael Hill singled and doubled, and Chris Martinez, Daisuke

Nishikawa, and Joe Peters each had two hits to lead the Dodgers.

Spirk also pitched five innings of no-hit ball, striking out 10.

Ryan McNicol singled and Ashley Fernandez scored for the Diamondbacks.

Angels 11, Yankees 8

Eric Hamilton had a two-RBI double, Michael McMullen singled and tripled,

Barry Neu had a pair of singles and a double, and Skylar Winston and

Trevin Sofferman each had two singles for the Angels; Barry Neu singled

twice and doubled, Danny Dion and Jordon Santana each singled twice with

an RBI, Gordon Edwards and Johnny Brewer each had two singles, and Geoff

Feltman had an RBI single for the Yankees.

Mets 11, Orioles 7

David Tarbell and Michael Kang each had two-run doubles, Billy Bintner

had an RBI single, and Taylor Fah had an RBI to lead the Mets; Kyle Myers

had a two-run triple, Andrew Brown had a two-RBI single, Aaron Malais had

two hits, Louis Garcia tripled, Ryan Haskin had an RBI single, and Jason

Swanberg had a hit and RBI for the Orioles.

Reds 10, Devil Rays 8 Doug Hansen had an RBI double, Joe Fried singled twice, Mitch Myers had

an RBI single, Garrett DeJong had a hit and RBI and Ruben Sosa had an RBI

for the Reds; Joey Reyes doubled and singled and Kevin Smisko had an RBI

single for the Devil Rays.
