AYSO Region 57: Riptides sink the Hotties

The Riptides, an AYSO Region 57 girls under 12 soccer team,

defeated the Hotties, 3-0, to complete their Recreational Spring Soccer

League undefeated.

The team won all eight games played, outscoring their opponents, 34-0.

The team’s solid defense was led by Kelly Barlett, Rachel Heyler, Sophia

Martin and Allison Holzmann.

Midfield play was dominated by Sonia Bui, Katherine Ossipoff, Andrea

Bond, Lila Todd, Taylor Canale and Olya Zamucen, while goalkeepers Casey

McMackin and Katie Schulte kept the shots out of the goal all season

long.
