Mets pound Cardinals, 16-5

With every team member contributing on offense, the Mets routed the

Cardinals Thursday, 16-5, in a Minor A Division game played at Huntington

Valley Little League.

Anthony Vidal singled with three RBI, Race Parmenter had an RBI double,

Chase Barnes drove in two runs, and Chas Boule, Stephen Toshiyuki, Kyle

Ammons, Paul McBeth, Anthony Ellis, Liam McGinn, and Alex Barnes all had

an RBI.

Tony Ciarelli and Tanner Phillips paced the Cardinals, with Ciarelli

finishing 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI, and Phillips went 2 for 3

with a double.

Dylan McDiarmid also had an RBI single for the Cardinals.

In other games:

Rangers 7, Marlins 3

Jimmy Queen went 2 for 2 with a double and Chris Ottens, Adrian Sanchez,

Travis Camarena, and Daniel Sanchez each had two hits to lead the

Rangers.

For the Marlins, Luke Patrick lead the way at 2 for 2, Tyler Paul had an

RBI double, and Erik Morentin had an RBI single.

Indians 9, Yankees 1

Brayden Kent doubled twice in going 3 for 3 and also scored twice to lead

the Indians.

Tommy Hennekam tripled and doubled for the Yankees.

IN MINOR B DIVISION PLAY:

Dodgers 14, Yankees 6

Trevor Castleberry went 2 for 3 and John Christopulos doubled for the

Dodgers; Drew Bauman tripled for the Yankees.

Marlins 7, Cardinals 3

Barry Luke and Jullian Herrera both went 2 for 2 for the Marlins; Matt

Reza finished 2 for 2 and Dean Nerhus doubled for the Yankees.

White Sox 9, Diamonbacks 7

Dallton Heikka went 3 for 3 and Alex Lowe doubled for the Cardinals; Matt

Jacinto doubled for the Diamondbacks.
