Anarchy, LBZ battle to 3-3 tie
Anarchy and LBZ went stick-to-stick and matched each other
goal-for-goal and save-for-save last weekend in fighting their way to a
3-3 deadlock in Mite Club Division competition held at Coast 2 Coast
Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Michael Mendez scored in the first quarter for LBZ, and a Donald Watts
score off a Kyleen Gonzalez feed earned Anarchy a 1-1 tie after one
quarter of play.
In the second period, LBZ’s Jeffrey Deutchmann netted three goals, but
Anarchy scored three of their own as Daniel Ha sandwiched a pair of goals
around a Rocco Grimaldi score.
Grimaldi also assisted Ha’s first goal, and Jake Thistle picked up two
assists in the period.
Anarchy goalie Joey Laricchia and LBZ’s net tender Jason Wall also
matched each other with 18 saves apiece.

Biscuit Boys 5, Predators 4
Bryce Courtney scored two goals, Jamie Dyke had a goal and an assist, and
Sam Robinson and Nicholas Delgleize each scored once for the Biscuit
Boys; Chayce Yokoyama scored twice and single goals also went to Michael
Honda and Dylan Lamphear for the Predators.
HB Surf 3, Flamebo 1
Shane Lakes scored twice and Chad Ramsey scored once as HB Surf rallied
for the win; Cory Liska scored off a Christopher Torres assist for
Flamebo.
Eagles 5, American Tofu 1
Scott Mahelona scored two goals, Christopher Romero scored once with two
assists, Chris Avalos scored once with an assist, and Adam Daley scored
once for the Eagles; the lone American Tofu goal came on a Taylor Apostol
goal from an assist by Stephen Nelson.
