North-South All-Star Softball Game is set

Soroptimist International of Brea/La Habra announced Wednesday the

date of their 8th annual North-South All-Star Softball Charity Game.

The game, which serves as an opportunity to showcase the top Orange

County senior softball players, will be held June 6 at Brea Olinda High.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with the game set for a 6:30 p.m. start.

Softball coaches from throughout Orange County currently are submitting

nominations to the North and South squads, and head coaches for each team

will be chosen later this week.

Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $3 for children. Raffle prizes, as well

as a 50/50 drawing, will be held.

Brea Olinda High is located at 789 Wild Cat Way in Brea, which is east of

the 57 freeway, exit Lambert Road.
