Students interested in participating in the Pilot Cup Soccer Tournament,

to be held June 2-4, should sign up now in their school office.

Each school in the Newport-Mesa area is invited to form a team of third-

and fourth-grade boys, third- and fourth-grade girls, fifth- and

sixth-grade boys and fifth- and sixth-grade girls.

The deadline to sign up is May 20.

Soccer coaches are also needed.

The tournament is sponsored by the Daily Pilot and the Youth Services

Assn. A $5 fee is required to cover the cost of T-shirts for the

participants.
