Roller Dogs hold off Hornets, 7-5

Gregory Williams scored a division-best five goals Monday to lead
the Roller Dogs to a 7-5 victory over the Hornets in Smythe Division
action at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Brock Bowden completed the Roller Dogs scoring by netting his team’s two
other goals.
Robert Vierregger scored twice to lead the Hornets, who also received
single goals from Brittany Downer, Ian Jahns, and Andrew Kee.

Avalanche 3, Bombers 2
Jacob Hill scored off a Cody Bertrand feed in the third period to give
the Avalanche the victory. Hill also assisted Matthew Harrington’s second
quarter goal, and Bertrand opened the scoring for the Avalanche with a
first period goal.
Wesley Keizer and Christian Allen both scored, and Ramiro Pimentel and
Troy Ahn each had an assist for the Bombers.
Timberwolves 4, Huntington Storm 1
Jordan Wallace, Sean O’Donnell, and Tip Donaldson all scored in the first
period for a 3-0 lead, and O’Donnell scored his second goal of the game
in the final period to lead the Timberwolves.
William DeWitt scored off a Patrick Watzke assist to account for the
Huntington Storm offense.
Hat Trix 3, Flyers 3
Colten Daigneault scored twice and Bryan Costa scored once to lead the
Flyers; Kyle Yamaoka scored two goals and finished with one assist, and
David Airhart scored once with an assist as the Flyers rallied in the
final period to force the tie.
