Oilers outlast Burnt Biscuits, 13-11

An eight goal onslaught in the third quarter lifted the Oilers to

an improbable victory Monday, as they went on to stun the Burnt Biscuits,

13-11, in Bantam Club play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in

Huntington Beach.

Jason Katzen led the third period barrage by scoring five of his

match-high six goals in the period as the Oilers wiped out an 11-5

deficit.

Katzen also finished by tying for team high honors in assist with three.

Niki Kollar also burned turned in a big night for the Oilers by scoring

five goals with three assists, and Brian Leicht scored twice with an

assist.

Raymond Macias scored four goals and had one assist to lead the Burnt

Biscuits, who also received two goals and an assist from Adam Freede, one

goal and four assists from Parker Ito, two goals from Ryan Williams, and

single scores from Trevor Zantos and Joshua Walker.

Shabu Shabu 10, Team Mystery 3

Patrick Tyson scored five goals and had an assist, Ryan Moreson scored

twice with an assist, Darren Dela Cruz scored once with three assists,

and Michael Henley scored once with three assist to lead Shabu Shabu.

Jon Tanji scored once with an assist and Robbie Kleinberg and William

Holzer each scored once for Team Mystery.

Burnt Biscuits 5, Crash Dummies 3

Raymond Macias scored twice and assisted two other goals, Ryan Williams

scored twice, and Billy Stretch scored once with an assist for the Burnt

Biscuits.

Brandon Mancia, Philip Churchward, and Shaun Rakhshani all scored, and

Shin Scott had two assists to lead the Crash Dummies.
