NBLL AA: Mariners hammer Angels

NEWPORT BEACH - The Mariners used solid hitting from top to bottom

to knock off the Angels, 16-6, Thursday in Newport Beach Little League AA

Division action.

Danny Baker had three hits and scored four runs, while Guy Sutherland

chipped in with three hits and one run scored for the Mariners.

Bradley Hess and Eric Chebil each had two hits, while Daniel Dichiro, Sam

French and Jeff Jones combined for three hits and six runs scored for the

M’s.

John Louchart had two hits and scored one run for the Angels, while James

Cunningham, Matt Steinberg, Mat Wheatley, Cory Vitalo, Nick Klein and

Bret Weinberger each chipped in with a hit.
