Boys tennis: Mesa thumped by University

COSTA MESA - Costa Mesa High’s boys tennis team ran into a buzzsaw
in the form of University High and in the end, the Trojans rolled, 18-0.
The Mustangs (1-6, 1-1 in league) won only 23 games in Tuesday’s battle
with Uni (5-0, 2-0), ranked No. 2 in CIF Southern Section Division II.
Costa Mesa will travel to Irvine to take on Northwood Thursday at 3:15
p.m.
