Softball: CdM bulldozes Bolsa Grande for three touchdowns and a

couple of field goals.

GARDEN GROVE - Alissa Zoelle threw a one-hit shutout for Corona del

Mar High’s softball team, but considering the 27 runs she had to work

with, it was slight overkill. CdM dominated host Bolsa Grande, 27-0,

Thursday in a nonleague game.

Besides her dominant performance on the mound for the Sea Kings (2-5),

Zoelle went 6 for 7 at the plate with a double.

CdM’s Meaghan Bunney was a perfect 5 for 5 with three doubles and a

triple. Her teammate Mijanou Pham hit a double and the game’s only home

run. Catcher Amy Tyson went 4 for 5 with a double and triple. Of the Sea

Kings’ 15 players, 13 had hits.
