Boys tennis: CdM squeaks by Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS - Corona del Mar High’s boys tennis team remained
unbeaten with a 10-8 nonleague in over host Beverly Hills.
Cameron Ball swept his three sets, 6-2, 7-5, 6-1, to improve to 12-0 for
the season.
CdM, ranked No. 1 in CIF Southern Section Division I, remains unbeaten at
4-0 and will take on Sunny Hills Wednesday at 3 p.m. at home.

Singles - Morton (CdM) lost to Swatt, 3-6, def. Gordon, 6-2, def. Nguyen,
6-1; Ball (CdM) won 6-2, 7-5, 6-1; Kennedy (CdM), lost, 1-6, 2-6, won,
6-4.
Doubles - Myers-Kulmaticki (CdM) lost to Hekmat-Richmond, 6-7, def.
Phan-Reichmond, 6-1, def. Dutton-Gabby, 6-1; Bean-Reed (CdM) lost 2-6,
3-6, won, 6-1; Stuart-Ning (CdM) lost, 2-6, 4-6, won, 7-6.
