COSTA MESA

* Bristol Street: Approximately $2,000 worth of hairstyling equipment was

stolen from a salon in the 3300 block at 9 p.m. Feb. 24.

* East 17th Street: A cash box containing $300 was reported missing from

a flower stand in the 400 block at 1:50 p.m. Mar. 3.

* Newport Boulevard: Personal property worth $4,200 was reported stolen

from a storage unit in the 1500 block at 3 p.m. Feb. 21.

* Pomona Avenue: A mountain bike valued at $1,200 was reported stolen

from a public storage unit in the 1700 block at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 14.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Avocado Street: A digital camera worth $1,300 was stolen from the

reception area of a doctor’s office in the 1400 block at 11:45 a.m. Mar.

* Back Bay Road: Two surfboards worth $528 were stolen from a camp site

at Newport Dunes at 10 p.m. Tuesday.

* San Joaquin Hills Road: Women’s clothing valued at $500 was stolen from

an apartment complex laundry room in the 2500 block at 11:30 p.m. Mar. 3
