Tickets are on sale for OCC’s Orange Tie 2000 gala at the Hyatt Regency
Irvine on Oct. 14.
The gala is a fund-raiser for construction of the school’s new $2-million
Arts Pavilion. The structure will accompany the new $15-million Arts
Center on campus and will feature an Art Gallery, a Young Artists Gallery
and a Gallery Cafe.
Groundbreaking for the Arts Center is scheduled for this summer.
Construction on the 8,500-square-foot Arts Pavilion will take place
during the 2002-2003 academic year.
The gala will run from 6:30 p.m. to midnight. Guests will be treated to
dinner, dancing, entertainment, a silent auction and awards ceremony.
Tickets are available to students, faculty, staff and the public. Tickets
are $100 each until May 1, when they become $125 each.
