Girls water polo: Four locals first-team All-PCL

Corona del Mar High, which shared the Pacific Coast League girls
water polo championship with Laguna Beach and University, had three
players recognized first-team all-league by the circuit’s coaches.
Senior goalie Arin Hendrickson, as well as freshmen Danielle Carlson and
Christina Hewko, represented the CIF Southern Section Division IV
runner-up on the first team.
Costa Mesa senior Shayna Kline was also a first-team honoree.
Locals named to the second team were CdM seniors Hayley Hapeman and
Melinda Tucker, as well as Costa Mesa senior Katy Petersen and junior
goalie Casey Petersen.
Laguna Beach junior Teresa Codini and University senior Marion Gee shared
MVP honors.
