Women’s tennis: Lions lose, 6-3

COSTA MESA - Vanguard University’s women’s tennis team got doubled
up by visiting Western New Mexico, 6-3, Friday in a nonconference match.
Vanguard’s Lindsay Doyal and Megan Godfrey won their singles matches in
straight sets. They then teamed up and won their doubles set, 8-6. The
Lions drop to 0-7 for the season.
