POLICE FILES - March 3, 2000

COSTA MESA

* Wells Place: A set of gardening tools and landscaping equipment valued

at $964 was stolen from a backyard in the 100 block between Feb. 24-25.

* West 18th Street: Approximately $600 in cash was reported stolen from a

file cabinet in the 800 block at about 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Seashore Drive: A Toyota Camry valued at $2,750 was reported stolen

from the front of a home on 42nd Street at about 8 a.m. Feb. 29.

* Westcliff Drive: Approximately $923 was reported stolen from an

unlocked safe in an office between Feb. 28-29.

* East Coast Highway: A woman’s bag, check book, sunglasses and other

items worth approximately $750 were stolen from an unlocked 1990 BMW

parked in the 3100 block at 3:30 p.m. March 1.
