Softball: Pirates no match for Cypress

COSTA MESA - The big bats of Cypress College came out in full force

as the Chargers knocked off Orange Coast, 10-2, in Orange Empire

Conference softball action Wednesday.

Erica Harding had a home run, scored three runs and drove in three, while

Sasha Campbell had three hits, a run scored and an RBI for Cypress,

(8-0-1, 2-0 in conference).

Tasha Thurmond went 2 for 3 with two runs scored, while Angelia Valdez

went 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs for the Pirates (11-8, 0-3).

OCC will continue its OEC action on Friday at home against Irvine Valley

at 3 p.m.
