The 21st annual Youth Expo, which will feature the various talents of
children, is scheduled for the weekend of April 14 at the Orange County
Fairgrounds.
The theme of this year’s event is “Heroes, Feats and the California
Beat,” recognizing top performers and their achievements.
The event is a showcase of children’s talents in different arenas,
including computer technology, creative writing, science, crafts and
graphic arts. Kids ranging in age from preschool to high school can
participate.
Two of the featured categories this year are the Orange County Science
and Engineering Fair with 17 categories, and a jazz festival that will
have junior and high school bands battling for more than $3,700 in cash
awards. A talent search for those with a flair for entertainment will
also be held.
Competition handbooks are currently available. For more information, call
