Women’s tennis: OCC wins first match

COSTA MESA - Orange Coast College’s women’s tennis team won its
first match of the year, 5-2 over visiting San Diego Mesa in a
nonconference meeting, with two split points.
Sondra McNamara and Merin Yoshida won their singles matches, then teamed
up in a 6-0, 6-0 doubles win. The Pirates improve to 1-1, while San Diego
Mesa drops to 1-2.
