Men’s tennis: Vanguard sweeps CSLA

NEWPORT BEACH - Vanguard University’s men’s tennis team won all its

matches as its shut out Cal State-Los Angeles, 9-0, in its season opener

Friday at Cal Poly Pomona. Stefan Johansson, Joakim Ulfuebrand, Peter

Skrzeczynski, Josef Stromberg and Martin Makovec all got 6-0, 6-0 wins in

singles for the Lions.
