Women’s basketball: OCC stays cold, 75-59
SANTA ANA - The basket is getting smaller and smaller for the
Orange Coast College women’s basketball team as the shooting woes
continued Friday in a 75-59 Orange Empire Conference matchup.
OCC (24-5, 8-4 in conference) shot 28% (23 of 81) from the field and hit
only 3 of 25 from three-point range.
Leah Wilde scored 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Shauna Steward added
12 points for the Pirates.
With the win, the Dons (25-2, 12-0), ranked No. 2 in state won its first
OEC title in school history.
Lisa Arcangel and Atari Parker each scored 20 points for Santa Ana,
