QuickSilver rolls along

Two weekends into the 2000 AYSO Area 11-K All-Star Tournament, and

the QuickSilver has yet to taste defeat.

The boys Under-10 Silver All-Star team out of Region 117 (Fountain

Valley/Huntington Beach) collected two more victories last weekend,

giving them four overall in the tournament.

Victims include Region 56 (Huntington Beach) twice, 2-1 and 3-2, Region

55 (Huntington Beach), 3-1, and Region 134 (Huntington

Beach/Westminster), 5-2.

Leading scorers for QuickSilver include Kevin Kuwahara with seven goals,

and Juan-Carlos Rodriguez and Kevin Lewis, each with three.

Other members of the QuickSilver include defenders Jonathan Crouch,

Matthew Vairo, Sean Wolf, Derek Chen, and James Hensley, goalies Kyle Day

and Nicholas Chen, midfielders Reed Hersh, Drew Russel, Andrew Adams, and

Stephen Ladsous, Michael Appel, Coach Juan Rodriguez, and Assistant Coach

Scott Lewis.
