Men’s basketball: Lions fall to Point Loma

COSTA MESA - Vanguard University managed to hold Point Loma
Nazarene to only 21 second-half shots in Tuesday’s Golden State Athletic
Conference matchup.
Unfortunately for the Lions, the Crusaders made 13 of those shots and won
the game, 72-62.
Four Lions’ players scored in double figures, led by Dennis Keane’s 14
points.
Travis Lindstrom led the Crusaders with 18 points, while B.J. Foster
chipped in with 17.
The Lions (11-14, 3-10 in conference) were outscored, 17-8, from the
free-throw line.
VU will continue GSAC action Saturday night at 7:30 against Concordia
University.
