COSTA MESA

* Fairview Road: A compact disc player and car stereo worth $800 were

stolen in the 2700 block between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Feb. 2.

* Federal Avenue: A bicycle worth $600 was stolen from a home in the 2100

block at 11 a.m. Jan. 28.

* Parsons Street: A video cassette recorder and printer worth $600 were

stolen from a home in the 1900 block on Feb. 2.

* Westminster Avenue: A purse and its contents worth $660 were stolen

from a car in the 2500 block between 12:30 and 3 p.m. Feb. 1.

NEWPORT BEACH

* East Coast Highway: Boating equipment worth $9,300 were stolen in the

300 block the evening of Feb. 2.

* San Mateo Way: Several pieces of jewelry worth $15,000 were stolen from

a home in the first block between Jan. 15 and Feb. 2.

* Sherington Place: A car stereo worth $290 was stolen in the 1900 block

Thursday evening.
