NOTHING SPECIAL
The Zen Center of Orange County is holding an ongoing series of “Nothing
Special” Zen awareness workshops. Meetings are held from 7 to 9 p.m. on
the first and third Thursdays of the month through April 18. Tuesday’s
meeting will discuss “Separation and Connection: Can Anything Hurt us?”

KENNETH KRAUSE FUND BENEFIT
St. Joachim Catholic Church will hold a night of psalms and canticles to
benefit the Rev. Kenneth James Krause Memorial Mater Dei High School

INTRODUCTION TO ZEN
The Zen Center of Orange County will hold an “Introduction to Zen
Workshop” from 3 to 6 p.m. Feb. 6. The workshop covers basics of seated

JEWISH EDUCATION WEEK
The Bureau of Jewish Education’s Jewish Education Week will run Feb. 11
through 18, featuring seminars such as “Jewish Millennial Issues,”

Abraham Twerski, psychiatrist, author and lecturer, will speak on

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU
Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will speak at Temple Bat

PURIM CARNIVAL
Temple Bat Yahm will hold a Purim Carnival starting at 9 a.m. March 19.

RE-MEMBERING GROUP
Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish Center is hosting a six-week series of
talks for Catholics who feel spiritually homeless. This Thursday’s
