* Adams Avenue: A cellular phone worth $140 was stolen from a car in the

1700 block the evening of Jan. 12.

* Bristol Street: A wallet and its contents worth $200 were stolen from a

business in the 2900 block between 4 and 6 p.m. Jan. 15.

* Orange Avenue: A purse and its contents worth $85 were stolen from a

car in the 1800 block the evening of Jan. 18.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Heliotrope Avenue: A wallet and its contents worth $70 were stolen from

a car in the 300 block on Jan. 18.

* Newport Center Drive: Various items of clothing worth $5,356 were

stolen from a store in the 800 block between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Jan. 20.

* Newport Center Drive: A laptop computer worth $3,800 was stolen from a

car in the 400 block between Jan. 22-24.

* 45th Street: A cellular phone and laptop computer worth $2,970 were

stolen from a car in the 100 block between midnight and 7 a.m. Thursday.
