NEWPORT BEACH -- Had a crazy courtship, rocky relationship or overcome
adversity for love?
Newport Dunes Resort is looking for couples with dramatic love stories
for its Valentine’s Day contest.
“Say you were separated from your beau because of war or maybe you were
forced to postpone your wedding because you were diagnosed with a serious
medical condition,” said Dunes general manager Andrew Theodorou. “These
are the types of stories we are seeking.”
If your relationship has endured despite adversity, submit a one-page
summary of your “Love Story.” Entrees must be received by Feb. 4.
A panel will select 10 couples to attend a complimentary luncheon hosted
by Newport Dunes on Feb. 14 at the Back Bay Cafe.
Selected couples will receive commemorative plaques and the winning pair
will get a second honeymoon at the Catamaran Hotel in Mission Bay.
