Nearly 1,400 of the county’s most handsome canines will strut their stuff
at the All Breed Dog Show on Sunday.
Approximately 140 different breeds will participate in obedience and
beauty contests.
There will be a special event for children and their dogs at 8 a.m.
The Shoreline Dog Fanciers Assn. of Orange County is sponsoring the
event. The group plans to donate portions of the proceeds from the show
to the Morris Animal Foundation, Pacific Wildlife Project and the Beckman
Laser Institute and Burn Center for Children at UCI Medical
Center.Admission for adults is $5, Senior Citizens $4, and $3 for
children 6 to 12 years old. Children 5 and under will have free
admission.
Dogs not entered in the show are not welcome.
Show hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
