Fountain Valley Little League sign ups

Fountain Valley Little League will hold its final sign ups for the

Spring 2000 season Saturday, Jan. 15, at Mile Square Park.

Boys and girls ages 5-16 are invited to sign up, and each applicant is

required to bring a current utility bill (for residence verification) and

a birth certificate.

Registration will run from 9 a.m-3 p.m.

North American Youth Sports recently announced that it will hold

its annual spring youth basketball tournament in the San Diego area March

17-19, at El Cajon Valley High and Grossmont Union High.

The tournament will feature play in 10 different brackets, including in

both 5th-6th grade boys and girls, 7th-grade boys and girls, 8th-grade

boys and girls, 9th-10th grade boys and girls, and both 11th-12th grade

boys and girls.

Entry fee per team is $95 and guarantees each team a minimum of two

games. Awards will be presented in each division. Entry deadline is Feb.
