Men’s basketball: Vanguard U falls to Point Loma
SAN DIEGO - Point Loma Nazarene University came out hot in the
second half and cruised to a 101-68 Golden State Athletic Conference win
over visiting Vanguard University Tuesday night.
Already with a 12-point lead, the Crusaders made 18 of 22 to open the
second half to blow the game wide open.
Brandon Cablay led the Lions (9-7, 1-3 in GSAC) with 23 points, while
Dennis Keane chipped in with 13.
B.J. Foster and Brian Frey each had 22 points for Point Loma (14-3, 2-2),
while Travis Lindstrom added 21.
Next up for the Lions, they host Concordia University Saturday at 7:30
p.m.
