* Adams Avenue: A car stereo worth $150 was stolen in the 1800 block the

evening of Jan. 2.

* Avenue of the Arts: Several compact discs worth $50 were stolen from a

car in the 3400 block between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 29.

* Bristol Street: A wallet and its contents worth $130 were stolen from a

car in the 2900 block the evening of Dec. 27.

* Sunflower Avenue: Two 18-packs of beer, worth $22, were stolen from a

store at 11:45 p.m. Dec 30.

NEWPORT BEACH

* West Coast Highway: A cellular phone worth $200 was stolen from a car

in the 1800 block between 9 and 11 p.m. Jan. 3.

* Newport Center Drive: A purse and its contents worth $75 were stolen

from a business in the 900 block between 4 and 8 p.m. Dec. 30.

* 34th Street: Several items of clothing worth $100 were stolen from a

car in the 100 block the evening of Jan. 1.
