COSTA MESA* Bristol Street: A stereo system worth $2,300 was stolen

from a store in the 3300 block between 7 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 29.

* Cadillac Avenue: A sewing machine and fabric cutter worth $5,000 were

stolen from a store in the 3500 block at 4 a.m. Dec. 31.

* Harbor Boulevard: A bicycle worth $199 was stolen in the 2100 block at

12:30 a.m. Jan. 1.

* Newport Boulevard: A pair of sunglasses and cellular phone worth $400

were stolen from a car in the 2400 block the evening of Dec. 27.

* Pitcairn Drive: Two diamond rings worth $8,000 were stolen from a home

in the 1800 block between Dec. 20 and Dec. 28.

* Balboa Boulevard: A compact disc player worth $120 was stolen from a

car in the 2600 block the evening of Dec. 28.

* Newport Center Drive: A cellular phone worth $200 was stolen from a car

in the 900 block between 5 and 8 p.m. Dec. 30.

* Newport Center Drive: A cellular phone worth $100 was stolen from a car

in the 900 block Wednesday.

* 44th Street: Several items of clothing worth $150 were stolen from a

car in the 100 block the evening of Dec. 30.
