The Margaret E. Oser Foundation of Orange County has presented Orange
Coast College’s Re-entry/CalWORKS Center with a check for $25,000 to
assist OCC re-entry students. The gift will be used to provide help to
200 OCC re-entry students who do not qualify for government-supported
programs. ... The Orange County water district recently held a ceremony
to recognize its most loyal employees. Among those recognized were
Stephen Camp, a technician with 20 years of service, Jeremy Davis, a
chemist supervisor with 22 years of service, Stephen Read, a supervisor
with 24 years of service, and John Souza, a supervisor with 22 years of
service. All four men are Costa Mesa residents. ... Orange Coast
College’s Psi Beta Honor Society and its campus Psychology Club donated
200 teddy bears to the Outpatient Clinic of UC Irvine Medical Center.
This is the fourth year in a row that the OCC students have given teddy
bears to children in need.
