Baseball: Bauermeister offers free guidance

COSTA MESA - Costa Mesa High baseball coach Kirk Bauermeister will

be discussing coaching basics for youth and little league coaches tonight

at 7, at the Fireside Lounge, near the high school’s cafeteria.

Everything from the basics of playing catch as well as some position

play, individual and team defensive drills, and defensive and coaching

philosophies will be discussed.

The coaches clinic is free of charge.

On Thursday night, Dec. 16, Bauermeister will hold another free

seminar at the Fireside Lounge at 7, this time on the art of offense,

including base running fundamentals, drills and an overall offensive

philosophy.

Bauermeister will hold an additional two free seminars in 2000, one in

January and one in February.
