CdM advances to semifinals

FULLERTON - Corona del Mar High’s girls basketball team remains

undefeated and advanced to the semifinals of the Troy Tournament with a

53-32 win over Kennedy.

The Sea Kings (3-0) will play Huntington Beach tonight at 8 p.m.

Kristen McCoy led CdM with 18 points and eight rebounds, and her sister

Jackie McCoy scored 10. Andrea Gruber got nine points, all from

three-pointers. CdM’s defense held Kennedy to nine points in the first

half.
