Men’s basketball: OCC wins in OT again

SAN DIEGO - Same story, different hero.
David Castleton’s three-point basket with two seconds remaining in
regulation, allowed Orange Coast College men’s basketball team to pull
out its third overtime game this season, 108-101, Wednesday night against
Cuyamaca College.
Castleton and Dave Elliott each finished with 26 points, while Duc
Nguyen added 17 points, eight of which came in overtime to lead the
Pirates (5-3) back from an 18-point deficit with just over six minutes
remaining.
In a rough, physical game, eight men were ejected and there were three
technical fouls called on both teams in the contest.
OCC continues its road action against Grossmont Saturday at 7 p.m.
