In May, two Long Beach residents -- Don and Linda Bryce -- completed an

11-year journey around the world. On Dec. 10, OCC presents a three-hour

seminar titled “Around the World in 4,155 Days,” the story of their

circumnavigation of the globe.

More than 11 years ago, the couple set off in their 40-foot cutter, Green

Dolphin. He is a physician and she a photographer. Together, they will

provide a firsthand account of the open seas and some of the most remote

areas of the world.

The seminar will run from 7 to 10 p.m. at OCC’s Sailing Center, 1801 West

Coast Highway, in Newport Beach. The registration fee is $15. For more
