The fourth program of OCC’S travelogue film series, “Armchair Adventures”
debuts this evening.
The yearlong film series provides viewers with glimpses of diverse
regions around the globe. Tonight’s presentation features the “Lost
Worlds of the Middle East.” It will be presented by Southern California
traveler and filmmaker Rick Ray.
The film examines the paradoxes of a region where battles rage for
centuries between feuding clans and tribes.
Ray traveled throughout Syria, Jordan, Israel and Lebanon, gathering
footage for the film.
The presentation will be at 7 p.m. in OCC’s Robert B. Moore Theater.
Admission is $7 in advance, $9 at the door and senior citizens are
eligible for a $1 advance discount.
