BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
Bring an unwrapped toy and have breakfast with Santa and the Marines at
Planet Kids from 8 to 10 a.m. Dec. 11. The indoor playground for kids is
accepting the gifts as a ticket for a free breakfast and playtime for
children. The Marines will be collecting the gifts and Santa will be on
hand during breakfast. Planet Kids also has a video game and computer

O.C. BIG BROTHERS/BIG SISTERS WISHMAKERS
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Orange County has kicked off its Third Annual
Wishmakers holiday program. The agency selects 50 of its neediest
families and provides food, gifts and all the holiday trimmings for the
family. The families will be presented with the goodies Dec. 16. For more

OCC’S REPERTORY COMPANY CAROLING TOUR
Orange Coast College’s Repertory Theatre Company is looking to make the
holiday season brighter for people in need and those living in shelters.
Members of the company are interested in caroling throughout the local
community this Christmas season. Rick Golson, faculty advisor to the
college’s Repertory Theatre Company, said groups who’d like to invite the
carolers to sing can call (714) 432-5640, Ext. 6.
The Repertory Company also is offering its 14th annual Christmas show
this holiday season. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays, today
through Sunday and Dec. 9-12, in the Drama Lab Theatre. Curtain is 7 p.m.
Thursday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sundays. The production is ‘An
Old-Fashioned Christmas Show and Ice Cream Social.’ A holiday sing-along
also is scheduled, and everyone will receive a free dish of ice cream and
a holiday cookie. Santa also will visit.
OCC’S CERAMICS STUDENTS POTTERY SALE
Students enrolled in Orange Coast College’s ceramics classes will hold
their 23rd annual Christmas Art Pottery Sale beginning Saturday and
running through Monday. Students will sell their wares in the ceramics
room from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ceramics room is in Room 120 of the
college’s Art Center Building. The three-day sale will focus on
functional as well as decorative pottery. Ceramic sculpture also will be
sold. Hundreds of items, created by intermediate to advanced-level
ceramics students, will be available. Part of the proceeds will go to
