Art takes center stage at Newport Beach festival

Local art aficionados turned out Saturday in Newport Beach for the 15th annual Art in the Park at the Civic Center.

Visitors could meet artists and craftspeople while taking in the exhibits of oil paintings, pastels, acrylics, mixed media, sculptures and more. Artwork also was available for purchase.
