2 drivers injured in Huntington Beach crash

Two people were injured in a crash early Thursday at Beach Boulevard and Warner Avenue in Huntington Beach, fire officials said.

Huntington Beach firefighters responded to the intersection at 3:15 a.m. after a report that two cars had collided.

A minivan rolled over onto the driver’s side door. Firefighters removed the roof and pulled out the driver, who was taken to a hospital, authorities said.

The driver of the other vehicle also was taken to a hospital.

The extent of their injuries was not released.

Details about the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
