Robber takes cash from 7-Eleven in Huntington Beach

A robber made off with cash from a 7-Eleven in Huntington Beach early Wednesday, police said.

Huntington Beach police were called to the store at 9502 Hamilton Ave. shortly after midnight after receiving a report that a man had robbed it, Officer Angela Bennett said.

It isn’t clear whether the man had a weapon or how much money was stolen. Police have not released a description of the robber.
