Huntington Beach puts Independence Day on parade
Huntington Beach celebrated Fourth of July on Tuesday with its traditional parade on Main Street.
The 113th event, billed as the largest Independence Day parade west of the Mississippi, sent bands, floats, local dignitaries, equestrian groups, community groups and celebrities from Pacific Coast Highway to Gothard Street.
Radio host Tim Conway Jr. was the grand marshal.
The city’s holiday celebration also included three days of live music at Pier Plaza.
